I too experienced Poison Oak "issues" climbing the slopes along the Merced River. I was wearing shorts and had done a lot of kneeling in areas. I never saw the poison oak, but it certainly found me. That was a couple years ago and I will never forget it! I didn't make it up along the Merced for poppies this year. Maybe next year. At least I got to trek Hites Cove! Another great shot Jason! Hats off to you for your patience and perseverance, especially for the last capture. Speaking from experience, there is a certain magic required to capture a full rainbow. Setting aside the luck it takes in even seeing a rainbow, oftentimes the colors are too faint and muted to successfully capture a great image. You did. Congratulations! Best of luck to you in 2012!
